Standardizing Future Smart and Connected Forensic Evidence Rooms

Purpose: This workshop entitled, “Standardizing Future Smart and Connected Forensic Evidence Rooms”, in collaboration with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, will bring together a diverse group of forensic and technology professionals to discuss possibilities for integrating IOT into the chain of custody (COC) process. Speakers and attendees from both academia and industry have been invited to take part in this innovative discussion on process improvement, efficiency and standardization techniques as it relates to forensics.

The workshop will enable an interactive discussion on the following topic areas:

Location: The workshop will be held at The University of Texas at Arlington at 701 S Nedderman Dr, Arlington, Texas. The University Center is home to a variety of services and activities designed to support students, faculty, staff, and guests. It has dining locations and several meeting and ballroom spaces to host the event. The overall theme of this year’s conference is forensics, with a focus on three topics:
