| Abstract: | This project presents the development of a fully autonomous F1Tenth self-driving car designed for high-speed navigation and competitive racing. The vehicle integrates a Jetson Orion Developer Kit running ROS 2 Humble, an Intel RealSense camera, LiDAR, and additional sensors for real-time perception, localization, and control. A Velineon 3500KV motor paired with a VESC MK VI enables precise actuation, while an optimized control strategy ensures smooth and efficient maneuvering. The car's performance is enhanced through algorithmic improvements in perception, path planning and trajectory optimization, making it a robust platform for autonomous racing and real-world self-driving applications. |
