Title: Portable Oscilloscope
Abstract: This poster presents the design and development of a portable oscilloscope aimed at providing a compact, cost-effective and reliable tool for electronics diagnostics, particularly useful for technicians and students in field and lab settings. Traditional oscilloscopes are bulky and expensive, limiting accessibility and portability. Our project seeks to address these limitations by developing a lightweight, handheld oscilloscope with sufficient functionality for basic signal analysis tasks. The design approach integrates a high-resolution display, an analog-to-digital converter, a signal processing unit and a rechargeable power source to ensure portability. The oscilloscope will be designed to capture and display signals up to 5 MHz, with features including voltage measurement, waveform display and basic frequency analysis. It will be able to accept four input channels and switch between 50 Ohms and 1M Ohm on each.
