| Abstract: | Maverick Rover Team is an interdisciplinary group of motivated students with the goal of exploring other worlds. The Mini rover plays a crucial first step towards building a full-scale exploration rover. It allows us to preliminarily test video communications, mapping, controls, and robust electrical systems before committing to a full scale design. Mini rover hosts, gps, depth camera, lidar, long range communications technology, computer vision package and gyroscopic sensors, giving it all the tools it needs to traverse and learn about its world. |
