| Abstract: | This project is intended to develop clay water filter as a point of use water filtration system using locally available material such as red clay, rice husk and water. To enhance the filtration properties, the clay water filter is infused with combination of nano particles carbon graphic nitride and CuCy to filter Atrazine (synthetic herbicide used to control weeds in agriculture). Our team is working on testing the removal efficiency of atrazine in water using the clay filter. |
