| Abstract: | The Aero Mavericks, an aerospace student organization at UTA, has recently created a new hybrid division with the focus of developing a hybrid rocket engine in-house. The ultimate goal of this project will be the design a new hybrid M-Class motor to compete in the International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC). To get there this project will explore various resources, use historical results of rocket propulsion systems, a test campaign of a small scale research motor and culminate in the manufacturing of a full scale hybrid rocket engine. |
