Title: 3D Printed Aircraft Competition
Abstract: Project Team 3D1, known as the “Battlehawks,” has been working on a project to design, build, and fly an aircraft for the 10th Annual 3D Printed Aircraft Competition. All components of the airframe and its lifting surfaces are 3D printed. The aircraft has been designed for flight within the confines of the UTA Maverick Stadium football field and may use only up to 8 seconds of continuous propulsion. The aircraft has been designed and refined over the course of a year, culminating in the upcoming competition on July 11, 2026, with a goal of achieving a maximum possible flight time.
