| Title: | Influence of Operating Temperature and Pressure on PEM Fuel Cell Performance |
| Abstract: | This research project observed the effects of different temperatures and pressures on fuel cell performance. As the global energy sector pivots toward low carbon alternatives, fuel cells have emerged as a cornerstone of innovation, offering a high-efficiency alternative to combustion engines. A modified Tafel equation was used to characterize cell performance of the form: ET = Eo + α(ΔT) + βln(P/Pref) Several experiments operated at different temperatures and pressures to determine the temperature dependence parameter, α, and the pressure dependence parameter, β. |
