| Abstract: | The automated medicine dispenser is catered to patients with memory and eyesight deficits. The touchscreen interface prompts the caretaker to submit the timings of eyedrops and pills. Through the week, the machine dispenses specified medications while alerting the patient to take them. Additional video footage is included for documentation and stored in an external USB for easy access. The device has 5 eyedrop doors, one of which is maintained at a temperature of 6 to 8 degrees, and a rotating pill carousel. A 7” touchscreen display allows for medication scheduling and a speaker and LED door strips alert the patient to take their medication. |
