Title: Indoor Security Drone for Smart Homes
Abstract: Indoor environments such as homes, offices, and warehouses face persistent security challenges due to the limitations of traditional fixed cameras and alarm systems. Static devices often create blind spots, lack adaptability, and cannot dynamically respond to potential threats, reducing situational awareness and increasing risk to people and property. This project proposes the design and development of an autonomous indoor security drone capable of actively monitoring enclosed spaces. The system integrates mobile flight control, real-time video streaming, and customizable pathing to patrol designated areas. Unlike stationary security devices, you can easily update the drone’s route to eliminate blind spots. A user interface enables remote monitoring and immediate notification of unusual activity, improving response time and overall awareness. This project demonstrates the integration of autonomous flight control, embedded sensing, and software development into a unified mobile security platform. By combining robotics and adaptive navigation, the system provides an innovative and technically robust alternative to traditional indoor monitoring solutions while showcasing multidisciplinary engineering implementation.
