Title:	Raytheon Autonomous Vehicle Competition - EE Team
Abstract:	Our group is participating in the annual, Raytheon Sponsored, UxV competition. Our group is tasked with creating a UAV and UGV combination that will compete against 9 other schools in the southern circuit from the states of Texas, Mississippi, and Alabama to complete various tasks. These tasks include: autonomous lift off and landing of a UAV from off of a UGV, autonomous searching of markers using machine vision, and autonomous obstacle avoidance. Our group is a multidisciplinary group consisting of electrical, computer science, computer engineering, and mechanical, mechanical aerospace engineering undergrads. We are the EE subgroup. Our focus will be the power systems of the two vehicles, RF management of the communication between the vehicles, and motor control.
