Students in computing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are invited to apply for the three-day experience (February 18-20, 2022) of OurCS@DFW workshops. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with other students on projects led by researchers and get assistance from graduate students. Awards will be given to the teams with the best performance.

This event also features two pre-event tutorials: Introduction to Python on January 29-30, 2022, and Introduction to Data Science on February 12, 2022. Both tutorials are open to everyone, including students at all levels, but priority will be given to women and underrepresented minority students.

Along with the workshops and tutorials, OurCS@DFW also features activities such as a keynote speech, panels, mentoring and advising about graduate studies and career pathways, community building, and social activities. Following OurCS@DFW, each of the workshop teams will present their projects at SCRF, UTA's Student Computing Research Festival, on February 21, 2022.

Online participation available. Please refer to the application page for details.
