Undergraduate women students from institutions in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex are invited to apply for the three-day experience (February 14-16, 2020) of OurCS@DFW. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with other students on projects led by researchers and get assistance from graduate students. Awards will be given to the teams with the best performance.

This event will begin with a four-hour Google TensorFlow Machine Learning Workshop on Friday, February 14, 2020, that is also open to underrepresented students (both undergraduate and graduate students) not participating in the full OurCS@DFW event.

Along with the workshops, OurCS@DFW also features activities such as a keynote speech, panels, mentoring and advising about graduate studies and career pathways, community building, and social activities. Following OurCS@DFW, each of the workshop teams will present their projects at SCRF, UTA’s Student Computing Research Festival, on Feb. 17, 2020.

Application Deadline: Friday, January 31, 2020
