Fiction Find

Fans of young adult fiction flocked to UTA in July as alumnus and Amazon bestselling author Shawn M. Warner ('94 MSW; '01 BS, Computer Science and Engineering) returned to campus for a book signing at the Central Library.

Warner is an Army veteran, former therapist working with children, engineer, and now full-time author of the young adult novel Leigh Howard and the Ghosts of Simmons-Pierce Manor. His novel recently went viral on social media after a heartwarming video was shared of him at a book signing. Since then, he's been featured on several news outlets, including the Today Show. ₪
