Lounge Revamp

Studying and exchanging ideas just got easier for electrical engineering students, thanks to Oncor. The company contributed $75,000 to the Electrical Engineering Department to enhance and refurbish the IEEE Student Lounge in Nedderman Hall.

Oncor's gift provided funding for a much-needed renovation and upgrade of the space, including new flooring, furniture, and technology. It will also provide students with a conference area.

"Oncor is a long-standing partner of the College of Engineering, and we are very grateful for its donation and continued support," says Peter Crouch, dean of engineering. "Strong industry partnerships, such as the one we enjoy with Oncor, support student success and result in a robust local and regional workforce that meets the needs of industry." ₪
